Help Needed with Transportation Costs to Sager Brown Many local churches have been faithfully collecting materials and supplies for UMCOR: bedding kits, flood buckets, health care kits, and school bags. The problem is it now costs about $500 per round trip to get these much-needed items to Sager Brown Depot in Louisiana. The Conference Disaster Relief team members have done a number of these trips as a gift out-of-pockett, but the cost has become prohibitive for just a few people to absorb. I fyou are willing to donate to this cause, mark a check "North GA. Conference Disaster Relief: Transportation" and your church treasurer will send it to the conference office where it will fund trips to Sager Brown and back. If you are willing to drive a load of materials yourself and absorb the costs as your gift, contact Mike Yoder at 404-597-2137 and let him know. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT NEEDED Metropolitan UMC will be hiring an Adminstrative Assistant. The North
GA. Conference is pleased to announce NGUMC
Mail. This new service provides a
permanent email address to everyone holding
clergy status as well as those serving under
appointment in the North GA. Conference. Now, as
pastors intinerate into new appointments or move
to different positions, there is no need to
change or update your contact information. With
NGUMC Mail, pastors have a permanent email
address that travels with them. The new
addresses will be set up on district at a time.
