Hands 2 Honduras-
a youth mission trip that was originated by Jennifer Davis,
wife of Bishop Davis. She realized the need for youth of
the North Georgia Conference to experience cultures and
lifestyles different from their own. She also saw the need
to provide an opportunity for them to experience the love
and grace of Jesus Christ beyond their own backyards.
Because of her vision, high school students from across the
conference have come to together to share in a
multi-cultural experience inHonduras
nearly every summer since 1999. h2H will travel again this
year and will work with a village near Rancho El Paraiso to
help provide them with new chimneys, repaired roofs, fresh
concrete floors, and working latrines. We also spend time
in a VBS with the children in the village. We will travel
June 28th through July 5. Registration deadline
is upon us. For more information, visit

Training Opportunity for Ministry with Young
Adults
All church leaders, both clergy and lay, are invited

adults. Come if you work with young adults or simply
have an interest in increasing your church's impact
on young adults and increasing their involvement in
your church community. Bill Lizor, from the GBOD,
will share his thoughts on the implications of our

potential for a shift towards a model focused on
